Brazil Energy & Environment Group

Brazil Energy & Environment Group (BEEG) is a research center headquartered in Bahia, Brazil, established under the collaboration between the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) and the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). The goal of BEEG is to develop innovative and environmentally sustainable energy production and environmental remediation and restoration technology. BEEG serves as a vehicle to research and develop these new technologies and to help facilitate their adoption.
